Procrastinate - The home of whitewater procrastination
Easter 2014: members of the Procrastinate team are jumping on a plane to Africa. With boats. It is going to be crazy. It is going to be epic. Time to learn to playboat...follow progress here.
A little video of some of the things we've been up to over the last few weeks of rain in South Wales...
Stuff the Consequences have produced a brilliant video celebrating France - well mainly the paddling that we did in the Alps and Corsica. The only thing you can celebrate about France is steak, wine, (at a push) croissants and returning the the UK!
Have a gander at the video below...
Viva la Corsica
The latest expedition saw a few Procrastinate members take to the river and road in an epic collaboration with Rob Haley, of Stuff The Consequences, and Dave Underhill, of Made Almost Entirely Out of Steel. Our destination: Corsica
It appears that we are unorganised (or maybe we procrastinate too much - how did we decide on a name?) so our blog on the trip does not exist (much like Stu and Duncan's epic Ski trip blog!). Stuff the Consequences, however, did write a blog! And it is also bl**dy good! You can read about our great times and Jonny King's incompetence here.
Guess what? Stu and Max unleashed their creativity and have whacked out a rather excellent video, check it out here: Viva la Corsica video
Procrastinate Productions - French Alps 2012
June 2012 saw the Procrastinate guys joining the more foolhardy members of Cardiff University Kayakers on what promised to be the trip of a lifetime. Maybe, if you’re a hamster and only intend to live for 3 years confined to a small wire cage fellating a water bottle, but a great trip nonetheless.
The weather was hot, the water was cold, and the beer was cheap. 2 weeks went by. 2 weeks of kayaking, club faff and some vigorous winging interspersed with some genuine good times, laughs and tears. Some lines were nailed, even more were stuffed, and after 2 weeks it was a very happy, and tired
group that traipsed back to Wales and the glorious summer it is renowned for.
This video was put together to show just a glimpse of what went on, on and off the water. It is simply a teaser, a glimpse into the dark world of kayaking, Cardiff University style. The instructions were clear, make the video no longer than ten minutes. For some this is too short, for some this is ten minutes too long. For some there may not be enough kayaking, for some there may be too much. Frankly, Procrastinate Productions would like to point out, just for the record, that it simply doesn't give a damn. Enjoy. So what exactly do we do?
We drink, kayak, bike, climb, ski. Its all summarised in "A Year In Plastic"
